Multiple PRI with ONE400
The OneAccess Solution

After many projects won in the VoIP area with major European ILECs and CLECs, most of them using T0 and/or T2 interfaces, with a maximum of 30 Voice channels supported per site, OneAccess invested once more in the development of the One400 Multi-T2 solution, this to address Enterprises with up to 120 Voice channels requested.

The voice over IP flows are processed via the OneOs router software. The voice over IP traffic thus benefits from the advanced QoS management offered by OneOs. Transit delays are controlled using link fragmentation and interleaving (LFI) over HDLC- and ATM-based uplinks, so that the VoIP jitter remains contained.

As shown on the diagram below, interconnection between One400 is done via T2 ports, and there is a One400 considered as a Master, meaning it provides the Synchronisation to the PBX, and to others One400 connected. With this solution, there is PBX modification needs, which is a major advantage for providers. Each One400 is connected to the PBX via a T2 port, and supports up to 30 VoIP channels.

High-level availability with the OneAccess solution:
In case there is a failure concerning the Master One400 that delivers the Synchronisation, the second one automatically provides the synchronisation to the PBX.

Why choose OneAccess?

  • Flexible architecture, with a step by step number of Voice channel increase.
  • Maximum of 30 Voice channels lost in case of IAD total failure, meaning high-level availability compared to boxes with 4xT2 inside.
  • Cost effective solution compared to boxes with 4xT2 inside.
